A century-old building in Sanborn has had a rebirth to coincide with a new passion for a longtime Sanborn beautician.

ReBorn Treasures, situated in the former Sanborn Flea Market location, offers an opportunity to come in and relax and just browse and check out some unique, antique, and vintage pieces of furniture that for some reason, someone had no more use for. If I’m fortunate to find it, I try to fix it up, said Mary O’Brien, owner of ReBorn Treasures.

Each piece, I take my time to see how I best can revive it, rebuild it, and if it needs a few tweaks, I go to my husband, Kelly for some help. In the past, I messed around with stripping really good pieces of oak furniture and loved to see it come to life again.
